Our Correction Commitment

We take accuracy seriously, especially for health-related information. When a reader identifies an error, we verify it against the primary source (USDA FoodData Central for nutrition data, the cited publication for research claims), then correct and note the change.

How to Report an Error

The value you believe is incorrect.
Your source for the correction, if you have one (e.g., a USDA record or product label).

What Happens Next

We confirm receipt within 3 business days.
We verify the claim against the primary source.
If confirmed, we correct the page and note the change date.
If not confirmed, we explain our finding.

Process Timeline

Verified corrections are typically published within 5-7 business days. Data-related corrections may take longer when a broader set of pages is affected.
