Questions, corrections, or feedback — we read everything
Spot a nutrition figure that looks wrong, or a food that should be rated differently? Send us the food name and the value you believe is off, and we will verify it against the USDA database and update if needed.
Three kinds of messages make up most of our inbox: readers double-checking a rating before a meal, clinicians or dietitians flagging a figure they want re-verified, and people with fatty liver asking how a specific food fits into a week of eating. We read all of them and use the patterns to keep the database accurate.
For questions about how ratings are calculated, the AASLD 2023 criteria we apply, or our editorial process, see our About page and methodology.
We aim to reply within 3-5 business days. Please allow time for verification before we respond to data-related questions. If you are emailing about a specific food, including the exact name shown on the food page helps us find and check it faster.
Please do not use this contact form for medical emergencies or personal medical advice. FattyLiverFood is a data research project, not a medical practice — we cannot diagnose, treat, or prescribe. If you have questions about your own liver health, talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian.
